Program Manager - Fisheries Policy

Location negotiable within a WWF-Australia office

WWF-Australia is seeking a fisheries policy expert to lead its fisheries program and provide high level strategic, technical and policy guidance to influence reform of international and Australian fisheries management. The position manages a high performance and geographically dispersed team.

Essential criteria include: high level expertise in sustainable fisheries management principles and practices and experience in international and domestic fisheries advocacy, excellent interpersonal and communication skills with experience advocating to senior stakeholders and excellent program and people management skills. Also essential is a proven track record delivering outcomes and the ability to work flexibly within a highly skilled team. Travel within Australia and internationally may be required.
