<p>WWF-Australia, the conservation organisation, is seeking an experienced Media Manager for strategic media engagement and delivery of public relations to key audiences in support of WWF’s media, marketing and conservation goals. Working with the National Media Manager you will support the planning and tactical delivery of WWF communications to a wide range of internal and external audiences, providing proactive and reactive media. </p>

<p>Utilising your knowledge of the environmental landscape, specifically issues pertaining to government action and policy on climate change, you will develop and implement leading communication strategies. Your experience initiating and managing media relationships will be applied across a wide range of projects, partners and clients. You will use your people management skills and good judgement to work within an internal approval process, producing press releases, opinion pieces and feature stories to communicate WWF’s values, mission and conservation program.  </p>

<p>WWF-Australia is seeking a fisheries policy expert to lead its fisheries program and provide high level strategic, technical and policy guidance to influence reform of international and Australian fisheries management. The position manages a high performance and geographically dispersed team.</p>
<p>Essential criteria include: high level expertise in sustainable fisheries management principles and practices and experience in international and domestic fisheries advocacy, excellent interpersonal and communication skills with experience advocating to senior stakeholders and excellent program and people management skills. Also essential is a proven track record delivering outcomes and the ability to work flexibly within a highly skilled team. Travel within Australia and internationally may be required.</p>
