Fundraise for us
We get lots of calls from schools, community groups and workplaces wanting to help save Australia's amazing environment and unique wildlife.
Taking part in a fundraising activity (be it a 'green day', karaoke night or tree planting event, or some other idea) is a fun way to raise funds and awareness, and helps build a sense of teamwork, community and achievement.
To ensure we comply with Charitable Regulations Guidelines, our supporter team asks you to:
Write down your ideas and send them to us
We need you to send us a proposal for us to review and approve before you undertake any activity on our behalf. We have a list of fundraising ideas to help spark your imagination. Once you have your idea worked out you can contact us.
Sign a fundraising agreement
In the agreement you will nominate contact people and agree to certain rules and regulations governing community fundraising. If you are a school student under the age of 18 you also need to nominate someone over 18 who can help supervise the event.
Keep in contact with us
Should your event change - say you've decided to do a fun-run instead of a mufti-day - or there's a change in personnel, let us know by phone or email.
As a fundraiser you will receive:
- WWF-Australia fundraising toolkit containing official collection badges and other materials, such as brochures or stickers.
- Certificate of appreciation acknowledging your school, business or community group for the hard work you've done.
- Receipt for the funds raised on behalf of WWF-Australia (we request you send us a cheque or money order no later than two weeks after the event).
We'd also love to receive snapshots of your event which could appear in Living Planet, our supporter magazine, or other communications from us, such as our Annual Report or this website.
