Threatened Species Network (TSN)
Working with the community to stop plants and animals from disappearing is what the Threatened Species Network (TSN) is all about. TSN is a partnership between WWF-Australia and the Australian Government.
We have people on the ground right across Australia working with community groups and other conservation partners to help stop the declining numbers of our native plants and animals, particularly those listed by Australia's state and federal governments as threatened.
As Australia's leading species conservation program, with more than 15 years' experience, we bring together science with community needs, on-the-ground action with Australia's decision-makers, and national issues with local concerns to help protect threatened species.

TSN News
"TSN News" is a newsletter produced quarterly by the Threatened Species Network and is designed to provide updates on threatened species projects and activities happening around Australia. For more information contact the TSN Project Officer.

Snapshot of our activities
- We provide information to people who want to know more about a particular species or ecological community, like community groups keen to take part in species recovery efforts.
- We put groups and individuals in contact with the right people at local, state, and national level - such as state agencies to assist with skills and/or expertise provision.
- We administer a grants scheme which funds community group participation in on-ground conservation projects.
- We help with the ongoing management and monitoring of community projects, and sit on recovery teams and natural resource management groups right across Australia.
