Woodland Watch Social Impacts Evaluation - Summary
Story telling is an age old tool and a powerful one for determining how land managers (primary users) and other users of Woodland Watch were affected by the project.
The social evaluation of Woodland Watch, as demonstrated through over 60 'Most Significant Change' stories and gathered through an appreciative inquiry technique, shows that amongst those primary and secondary users targeted, the project had (amongst other things) developed higher awareness of the value of bush, strengthened capacities to manage for conservation and inspired on-ground management actions.
This report summarises the results of our social evaluation of the Woodland Watch project. The full report will be available soon.
