I’m a communicator with an interest in the environment, science and the natural wonders of the world.
WWF has passionate people doing important work. We have many stories to tell. Whether it’s protecting the Reef, saving threatened species, or advocating for action on climate change, there is media interest in what we have to say. My job is to present our stories in a way that engages people and stays true to our identity as a science-based organisation.
I was a television journalist for 20 years in Brisbane and Sydney and then a Queensland Government media advisor with the privilege of working for a Premier.
My time at WWF has re-enforced a lesson from journalism. People power, fuelled by information, can achieve amazing things.
