Protect endangered eastern quolls today
Eastern quolls, once found all over Australia’s southeast, disappeared from the mainland 60 years ago – and even where they remain in Tasmania, their numbers are declining. When you symbolically adopt an eastern quoll, you’re helping turn their story around. You’ll be a part of rewilding endeavours to reintroduce the eastern quoll to the NSW South Coast. This is the first step in re-establishing them on the mainland, helping boost their chances of survival in the long term. You can help eastern quolls thrive as they establish their forever home again. You'll be giving them a better chance of surviving the threat of extinction, while helping them reclaim their natural place in the ecosystem of mainland Australia. And for each eastern quoll you assist, you’ll be helping hundreds of other native species too. If you decide to support them through an ongoing adoption, you’ll receive exclusive eastern quoll updates to keep you posted on how they’re getting on.

How your donation can help eastern quolls
When you symbolically adopt an eastern quoll today, you’ll be part of the efforts to establish this unique species back on mainland Australia. You'll help keep them safe from predators as they settle back in and protect their habitats for the long-term.Bringing the eastern quoll back home
By supporting the reintroduction of the eastern quoll to mainland Australia, you’ll be helping save this species from extinction. You can be the reason future generations grow up with eastern quolls as their neighbours again!
Supporting their safety as they settle back in
The eastern quoll’s new home – an 80-hectare sanctuary at Booderee National Park – now features a 1.8-metre-high fence to give the new residents a chance to settle in safely, protected from predators like foxes. Ongoing monitoring of quoll health and their diet is needed to ensure the new population's well-being in their new habitat.
Allowing them to reclaim their place in the ecosystem
Adopting an eastern quoll won’t just help these cute marsupials, either: their diet includes spiders, cockroaches, mice and rats, and their impressive hunting abilities help keep these populations under control to maintain a natural balance in the ecosystem. Rewilding species back to places they once roamed creates a healthier landscape for everyone.
Protecting their habitats in the long term
Australian forests, including the ones eastern quolls once called home, are being bulldozed at unprecedented rates, robbing native animals of their homes and food. You can help turn this destruction around as we work to stop excessive tree-clearing, protect existing trees and forests, and replant native habitat that has been lost.
