INDIGENOUS EASTERN QUOLL ART WALLPAPERS
For many First Peoples, the Eastern Quoll’s cultural significance bonds this creature to Country, including places it is now being reintroduced to after decades of absence on mainland Australia. It is a totemic species for a number of Indigenous Australians.
The word quoll derives from the language of the Guugu Yimithirr people of far north Queensland.

Artist's Statement from Sarah Levett
“Prior to colonisation, the Eastern Quoll was a part of Aboriginal lands throughout Australia, including Wiradjuri country. This artwork shows how they used to be an important part of country, wandering around and eating their dhangaang (food) including insects, birds and native fruits.” - Sarah Levett, Wiradjuri and Gundungurra artist.
We need your help to save the eastern quoll, a unique and endangered species native to Australia. These small, charismatic marsupials play a crucial role in our ecosystem. But sadly, eastern quolls are gone from mainland Australia where they once called home.
Please, adopt an eastern quoll today and help restore the eastern quolls back to places they once roamed. You’ll be making a huge difference for our precious Australian wildlife.
