READY TO REPORT TO YOU LIVE IN EGYPT FROM COP27!

Ready to report to you live in Egypt from COP27!

November is an exciting month for our planet - it’s the beginning of the highly anticipated COP27 held in Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt.

Every year, world leaders of United Nations Member States attend the UN Climate Change Conference (COP) to discuss and demonstrate their commitment for climate change action.

As our environment faces ever growing challenges, it’s more important than ever that the world takes a collective stand to tackle climate change.

Following a change in government, Australia now has an exciting opportunity to step up and become a leader in international climate negotiations.

Two WWF-Australia representatives are heading off to Egypt, ready to advocate for our planet. Krista Singleton-Cambage (Head of Climate and Food Security, WWF-Australia) and Oliver Toohey (Global Climate Program Manager, WWF-Australia) will be meeting and working with governments, other WWF colleagues and organisations from around the world to discuss climate solutions including renewable energy, industrial decarbonisation and Nature-based solutions.

Join Krista and Ollie on our social media channels for exclusive behind-the-scenes updates on the progression of the conference!
